Down Home Dairyland DHD is a radio program originally launched in 1986 and aired on Wisconsin Public Radio through 2000. WVMO will begin streaming on-line in July, 2015.

Rick March launched Down Home Dairyland in 1986 on community radio WORT in Madison, Wisconsin. In 1988 the program moved to the statewide Ideas Network of Wisconsin Public Radio and added co-host Jim Leary. Jim needed to drop out of the show in the mid-'90s but Rick continued to produce it through September, 2000. Tapes of all of the old shows are archived at the University of Wisconsin's Mills Mu

sic Library and hundreds of them have been converted to digital form. After nearly 15 years off the air, Rick March is reviving Down Home Dairyland with WVMO, the Voice of Monona in Monona, WI as its home station, but the show is available to other community and public radio stations at no cost.
