Let’s talk about Postpartum Depression (PPD) 👇
You might have PPD if you’re:
❗️Feeling restless or irritable
❗️Feeling down or hopeless
❗️Experiencing headaches or heart palpitations
❗️Fatigued and unable to sleep
❗️Unable to focus, remember things, or make decisions
❗️Feeling worthless or guilty
PPD usually begins within the first 3 months after giving birth, but symptoms can appear even a year postpartum. Without proper treatment, PPD can continue for months—or even years, according to a study by the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD).
But PPD doesn’t have to last forever.
