FEM Script Lab is a new writing lab for female screenwriters in Toronto, held monthly at, and in partnership with, The Theatre Centre (theatrecentre.org). The lab is a place for screenwriters to share and receive feedback on work that is in development. Our Mission: is to nurture writers, to invest in female driven stories and promote women as creators of content. FEM Script Lab is generously supported by the Ontario Arts Council.

Have you heard of "Astrid and Lilly Save the World" yet? This wonderful new show is written by some amazing Canadian talents like Alexandra Mircheff, Alix Markman, Veronika Paz, and Dev Raha.

On top of that, the show boasts a line up of talented Canadian directors: JJ Stevens, Jill Carter, Danishka Esterhazy, Jordan Canning and Audrey Cummings.

The Indigenous Screen Office (ISO) is launching its full slate of new funding programs immediately. The new funding will support Indigenous screen-based storytellers through two funding streams: the Story Fund and Sector Development.

The Story Fund will support creators in the development and production of Indigenous-made content, as well as enhanced support for post-production, marketing and distribution. The Sector Development component will support projects that increase Indigenous training, participation and representation in all roles across the screen sector.
