A new episode of LEVIATHAN PRESENTS is out! This month, we are showcasing DESERT SKIES - a quirky, comedic, and heartfelt sci-fi audio drama about life between this world and the next. The story takes place along the road of a lonely highway at a gas station in the afterlife (yes, a gas station!). Desert Skies Astral Plane Fuel and Service Station serves travelers as they embark on their journey through the celestial spheres.

We speak with author and creator Jared Carter about his inspiration behind this truly original work as well as his creative process and his uncanny voice talent performing all of the various characters we meet in Desert Skies.

I really loved listening to this podcast because with each episode, it feels like the camera pulls back and slowly reveals a larger story to the listener. I think you guys are going to really like it!

It’s great to be at Podcast Movement in LA. I’ve been meeting some truly amazing, immensely talented podcasters, including some that I might collaborate with. Podcasting, especially fiction podcasts which require so much post-production, can be a lonely gig sometimes. But conventions like this are so important because you find artistic community but also keeps you informed of the latest developments in this dynamic field. We started podcasting 15 years ago when our biggest challenge was simply explaining what a podcast was. Unbelievable to see how huge the industry has become.

Can anyone recommend a good compression solution for the raw files? Preferably one that doesn't require any software for the recipient to unzip / decompress? Thanks in advance guys!

I've been so impressed with the vivid, tense underwater soundscape that they've created. This episode’s guest is Maximillian Clark, the co-creator of SPR: SUPERHUMAN PUBLIC RADIO which is an NPR radio show set in the present day, superhero filled universe. I really love this podcast because they mimic the style & segments of a public radio station with hilarious references to present day problems like being a Getaway Driver on Uber, or being a henchman in the gig economy. I think you guys are gonna love it!

As a note, we’ll be publishing episodes of Leviathan Presents! on a monthly basis until we finish production on The Invenios Expeditions in Spring 2024, along with a few other surprises in the feed.
