Road to Urbanfest is a music competition searching for the best Malaysian singers and bands to perform at Urbanfest 2012, Selasar Dufan, Jakarta, Indonesia. This is the first time Road to Urbanfest being organised by Indie TV Indonesia and Indie Media Network, Kuala Lumpur. to promote growing Malaysia independent music
2. to provide an international exposure especially in Indonesia
3. to provide
a rare opportunity to perform in the biggest gathering of creative community and independent music festival for youngsters in Indonesia. The competition is open to singers and bands from Malaysia who is at least 17 years old on November 23, 2012. Independent or established record label artists are welcome. Admission to the preliminary round of the competition will be judged based on the live recorded or studio performance. 10 contestants will advance to the final showdown. The competition’s judges will be announced soon. The schedule for the competition is as follows:

All videos would be uploaded onto Indie TV Indonesia YouTube Channel and page. The users will get the opportunity to vote on the YouTube channel for their favourite live studio recorded until October 29, 2012. Send your performance video or music video to [email protected]
