It's officially release day! The remix Gareth Morgan and I did of Zenana's cult 80s synth jam 'Witches' is now available as a lovely, nicely mastered/remastered 12" on Rush Hour. Their 1986 seven-inch version on side A, the mid-80s style dancefloor extension/remix we did on the flip. Go forth and purchase your copy!

Of late, I've been thinking about all the DJ mixes I've done over the years, so last week went back to see what was online from the last 15 years. Spoiler: it's a lot and they cover a fair amount of ground musically. I have written this for the JTF website, showcasing some (but not all) of them, with embed links so you can dive in. Looks like the cat's out of the bag! Zenana - 'WItches (Bedmo Disco's Spell of Love)' coming soon on Rush Hour! Incidentally, Anita from Zenana will be on BBC Radio 5 Live this afternoon, reportedly around 4.45pm.

The group's Anita Gabrielle Tedder says she never expected to have success in her 70s.

Good news for those who heard (and liked) our Bedmo Disco remix of Zenana's cult classic 'Witches', which we briefly shared on Soundcloud last year (and various DJs have been playing loads) – it has been signed to a notable label and will appear in stores (vinyl and digital) later in the Spring… more details soon when the label in question is ready to announce it :) Big up Gareth Morgan for doing the hard work (and coming up with the best bits) while I barked out suggestions/instructions and asked for more delay on everything

Last time we were at Propyard in the summer, it was off the chain good, so hopes are high for our return this Friday (25th November) as part of their Winter Social programme.
