This is the Neely Mansion in Auburn, WA. Five different families farmed here from 1894 to the 1980s. Each family brought a piece of their culture and identity to this home. In the 1930s the Hori Family built a Japanese Bathhouse.

A hint for Monday’s episode: this fiberglass house in the photo has 2 gables. The one we’re going to has a lot more.

River Road African American Museum and other organizations are using historic maps to find the graves of enslaved people. These cemeteries are often not accessible since the land has since become chemical plants.
