However, the role our national media is playing (especially the paid national TV news channels) just displays how they are neglecting the North Eastern region of this country or being gagged by some force. Most of our 'mainland' Indians are not aware of the actual situation of North Eastern states and the potential national threat that is going to affect them big time, if strong measures are not implemented NOW. Since the national media failed to let the 'mainland' India know about the facts of illegal Bangladeshi immigration and the peaceful agitations of people of North East to protect INDIA, this page will try to collate the news that are directly or indirectly related to this NATIONAL THREAT. Unfortunately the international border that NE shares with other countries is not well-shield and well-protected as our Indo-Pak border. This has resulted in continuous infiltration into Assam, West Bengal (WB) and other NE states. Also, certain political parties are promoting illegal immigration from Bangladesh and issuing the illegal immigrants with important documents like ration card, voter card, land documents etc. illegally for their vote-bank politics. Once they enter NE or WB, they can easily flood rest of the states in India. That's because we do not have immigration check in state-borders. Once they enter other states, they can easily establish themselves as Indian citizen based on the important documents provided to them illegally by those political parties. So, the problems Assam and NE are experiencing today because of these Bangladeshi immigrants are going to be the problems of rest of India tomorrow. We, in fact, have witnessed that in the recent past – in many instances. Sometime these terrorists' are proved as Bangladeshi, sometime as other foreigners (might have infiltrated through the porous Indo-Bangla international border), and sometime even as Indian (might have been provided with important documents illegally by above mentioned political parties). That's why, to protect India and the citizen of India, it is so very important that we seal the Indo-Bangla international border completely and deport the illegal Bangladeshis who are already present in India.
