I was BEYOND inspired by our trip to Santa Fe and knew I wanted to create a piece that captured the beautiful colors and feel of our incredibly memorable trip.
So when @blank.inspiration sent me this pre-framed canvas (an artist’s dream) I felt it warranted a painting inspired by that trip. I blended my favorite desert-y tones and soft teals together to celebrate the dreamy Georgia O’Keeffe aesthetic. And added my favorite pop of gold leaf to finish out the painting, of course.

Packing for a trip can be overwhelming and intimidating. But I’m here to flip the script & encourage you to play. Let’s have fun with the idea of who you get to be in a new place.
For this trip I knew I would wanted to wear my favorite colors, pinks, oranges, and turquoises. I knew I’d wanted to feel fresh with a bit sophistication while still practical for lots of leisurely activities.
A few weeks before the trip I pulled items to the front of my closet that I knew I wanted to potentially bring. I then tried on the outfits that I wanted to wear. This helped whittle down what I actually brought to save room in my suitcase and gave me a visual guide of what my options were when I got to Santa Fe. This helps me a ton!
I only overpacked one whole solid outfit. that I love and will definitely wear another day. I loved how I felt on this trip because of what I wore. And the planning and excitement for it fueled the trip!

When you’re a busy mom of 2, it’s reallllllll easy to just throw on sweats and call it good, enough.
But, for me, I feel my best when I put effort into my outfits. They’re like my suits of armor and give a good sense of control to start the day. I always feel better when I more put together.
So, to keep myself on the right track, I curated these looks for our family Christmas time. Each outfit is planned for the days plans and pieces I’ve been pulling to the front of my wardrobe these season. So, I wouldn’t forget about wearing them this time of year. I’m so glad I did so I can wear them now.
Also, real pumped for the time this upfront effort will definitely save me on the back end!
I’m so excited to see my people and catch up and feel my best while doing it all. It takes some effort but it’s totally worth it. 💋
