Medtronic is recalling nearly 350,000 implantable defibrillators because the devices may deliver a reduced-energy shock, or no shock at all, when therapy is needed, the FDA said Tuesday.
The implantable defibrillators may fail to deliver an electric shock to restore normal heart rhythm when needed, which could lead to a serious injury or death, the FDA said.
