Switzerland by Drone & Timelapse - teaser
We just published our longest drone video to-date: an 11-minute drone (and timelapse) film of Switzerland. We filmed the footage three years ago, and I tried several times to edit it into something I was happy with, but nothing felt right for it. I finally decided to do a slow relaxing style, and overall I'm happy with it. Admittedly it still doesn't do justice to the beauty of Switzerland, but it's my best attempt. :-)

Texel by Drone - DJI Mavic 2 Pro
This drone video is a little different than most we've done in the past. We take you to a small island in the Netherlands called Texel. The island is 6 miles wide and 15 miles long, and has a population of around 13,000. It’s about 50 miles north of Amsterdam.
We filmed this awhile ago, but didn't get around to actually editing it until recently. Still, even delayed, we hope you enjoy!

The song is "Greatest Love" by Generdyn, and it was licensed through Musicbed.com.
This was filmed with a DJI Mavic 2 Pro. All shots were filmed in DLog-M color profile, then processed in Premiere Pro for color (using the Leeming LUT Pro) and lens distortion correction.

The Most Unique Vacation Rental Ever - Beckham Creek Cave Lodge
At the end of April we were given the opportunity to stay at Beckham Creek Cave Lodge, a house/vacation rental that's literally built inside of a cave!

Micro San Francisco
#TBT to a film I made four years ago, using a tilt-shift effect. This was a fun project, and was an official selection in the first annual Flying Robot International Film Festival in San Francisco.
Chicago Autumn by Drone in 4K - DJI Mavic 2 Pro
We spent about five days in Chicago in November, filming mostly drone footage and hyperlapses, with a little bit of traditional b-roll when snow hindered flying the drone.
The weather was mostly cloudy or overcast during our visit, only clearing on the last day. Overall the footage that we got for this project wasn't what I had expected...the trees were much more dead than I had hoped they'd be, and with the weather not cooperating it meant needing to be more particular about shooting. But it was a fun challenge and it meant changing the style of the video from what I had originally envisioned.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the film!

Tampa Aerial Hyperlapse
Doing some more tests with the Hyperlapse feature of the DJI Mavic 2 Pro. I tried some lower-elevation ones in this one, and they definitely show a lot more wobble than when I keep the drone higher up.

An Evening in Brussels
On our flight back from Europe we had an overnight layover in Brussels, so we made the most of it and spent about four hours exploring the inner part of the city. It was a beautiful evening!
