After further review: 5 Broncos who have thoroughly impressed me.
1) Virgil Green. This could be it. Finally the year where Green lives up to his expectations, as many fans have seen his potential brewing and culminating over the past few seasons. It looks like he is finally putting his head into the game, and the results should be phenomenal. He has always been a great blocker, at some points even being used as a fullback. However, there were flashes of great receiving ability on multiple occasions. This should be the year that those two qualities go hand in hand for a major impact.
2) Lorenzo Doss. The second year cornerback from Tulane has made a living off of picking off our quarterback trio this offseason during training camp. When he faces a different team, he has played equally as well, reeling in an interception and constantly playing chippy, tight-knit defense in his two preseason appearances. Whether or not Doss will be a gameday active will hinge on any pending deliberation for Talib's possible punishment. But, Lorenzo should make his way onto the 53 man roster, regardless.
3) Paxton Lynch. This guy is looking like he could be an absolute breakout player when he develops his mental game and adapts to both the NFL speed and to the terminology of Kubiak's playbook. He has an absolutely monstrous arm, an innate escape ability, vastly underrated athleticism, and a childlike passion for the game that he loves. You really can't beat all of those factors if they come to fruition. Paxton remains a dark horse for the week 1 starting job, but is expected by many to make his appearance at some point during the season. To me, this guy waiting in the rafters excites me much more than Brock ever did.
4) Devontae Booker. Another early round draft pick that looks like it may pan out through the small sample size that we have seen, is the rookie runningback from Utah. He has shown some incredible vision, with a rare combination of high level athletic
