I remember yesterday
When we wore smiles
and love was all around us
It didn't last too long
I'm a wounded animal
And you are gone, gone, gone
Stories that I tell myself
To lull myself to sleep
so I stop bleeding
At least until I wake
And you're not there
inside this empty hole
A space that you filled
only for a moment
This house is not a home
This garden cannot grow
With all this cold and snow
Water turned to ice
And all my fire did was burn away,
burn you up, and burn my eyes
You're still the air around me
But I can't breathe
I'm gasping trying to pull you in
I'm grasping at straws
Trying to keep close to you
It's all I ever do
And now it's done
Gone, gone, gone as you are
Long, long, gone as we both are
The messes we've been making
Spilling all around us into one
Just take away this reeling
I'm drowning in this feeling
Some days I feel I've breathed
My last breath
And here I lay defeated,
Disappointed and beaten down
And left for dead
I do it to myself
I wish that you were doing it to me
I only have myself to blame
It's all in my perception
And unfair expectations
That I had for you
I cannot be perfection
I always learn these lessons
In the hardest ways
Stone against the wall
Chosen and deleted
Broken and defeated as I fall
You're still the air around me
But I can't breathe
I'm gasping trying to pull you in
I'm grasping at straws
Trying to keep close to you
It's all I ever do
And now it's done

That moment
That moment when your eyes begin to see clearly
That moment when your eyes are finally unveiled
When the fog clouding your mind is starting to fade away
That moment when your HEART is happily at peace
That moment when all the pain begins to matter no more
When all you see is a light long awaited for
That very moment when you realize it was all for nothing
When your Heart, Body, Soul and mind are co inhabiting perfectly well
That moment!!!

That's a mother's love
There's nothing in this world that could take away the love I have for the queen

I was down
Full of self-pity
Full of regrets
Full of anger
Very angry to care
Thought of ending the hurt
Took it out on the most vulnerable
Blamed the closest
Pushed away the most caring
Avoided help
Questions poped all the time
Will it really end
Will it be the right thing to do
Is there life beyond the grave
If so then,
Is it better than this one
Am I depressed, damn I could be
So i
Ignored the term
Avoided all it comes with
Focused on positivity
I could still be but stronger and bolder

I got hurt a few times
Had a lot to say about it
Fell in love once or twice
Still could say a lot about
Was happy and still am happy
Could and can write four books on it
Became a husband
Can narrate all about it
Boom
I Became a dad
Most refreshing feeling ever
If you may ask
Can go on and on about it
Explaining the love is hard though
The feeling supersedes any other in existence
Is it the blood bond
Or is it because Shammah and Shalom are just awesome daughters

Where were you
When I got hurt for your sake
When I was mistreated in your name
When I laid my heart to you
When I gave up my soul to please you
Where were you
When they pretended to be you
When they hid behind your name
When they stole away my pride claiming it was you
When they beat me up and faked apologies
When they cheated on me and with me
Where were you damn it
When they convinced me chocolates and flower were you
When I love you fooled me time and again
When i was rejected and ridiculed
When I was left to raise my kids alone
When my heart broke into pieces
Ok fine I'll forgive you
If you tell me who you Really are
If you avail yourself physically
