We’re excited to share the introduction video for Brady and Lindsay Funk of Braylin Acres, created in collaboration with Canada’s Outstanding Young Farmers (OYF) and representing Saskatchewan at the 2025 Canada’s Outstanding Young Farmers National Competition in Toronto.

Over the past several years, The Landing Studio has worked closely with Brady and Lindsay through website design, photo and video storytelling, and the visual content featured across their platforms. That ongoing relationship is what led Braylin Acres to bring us on to support their Outstanding Young Farmers project and national introduction.

Being named Saskatchewan’s Outstanding Young Farmers for 2025 is a well deserved recognition of their leadership, innovation, and long term vision for agriculture, including their work with large scale sub surface drip irrigation to improve efficiency and sustainability in the region.

For this project, The Landing Studio captured interviews and B roll on location, with the final edit completed by Bamboo Shoots to ensure consistency across all provincial finalists. We were grateful to collaborate on this national piece and help bring their story to a broader audience.

Brady and Lindsay, thank you for continuing to trust us with your story. We’re proud of the work we’ve done together and look forward to what’s ahead.

That’s a wrap for 2025! Wow, what a year.
Looking back, we’re incredibly proud of the projects we worked on and the clients who trusted us to help tell their stories. This year took us across many industries, from agriculture and manufacturing to construction, arts and culture, and sports, as well as across Southwest Saskatchewan and beyond.
Thank you to everyone who collaborated with and supported us along the way. We’re so excited for what 2026 has in store. Cheers!!

A little throwback to our interviews for the
We spent an afternoon capturing local history, family memories, and stories that deserve to be preserved. Shoots like these can be a real perk to the job. Getting to hear lived experiences like this firsthand from life-long residents are a real privilege and we feel honoured to help share them with the next generation of Saskatchewanians (Saskatchewanites?) 🌾

A little peek at the post-production side of things—sorting clips, making selects, and dialing in colour. Slow, patient work that turns raw footage into something polished and intentional.
This timelapse shows about 90 minutes of editing compressed into 15 seconds. Unfortunately, you can’t speed this part up in real life! Every clip chosen is intentional, and sometimes you have to make tough decisions and leave great shots on the cutting room floor to get the sequence just right. Does anybody else hear the Benny Hill theme song "Yakety Sax" in their head while watching this?

Some early prep for an exciting shoot later this week! We're testing new gear and installing a few upgrades this afternoon to streamline our green-screen workflow and tighten our lighting control to make each project for our clients smoother, faster, and cleaner. Things are about to get fun!

We thought it might be time to refresh our demo reel and highlight our more recent projects that we've got under our belt in the past year or two. A video like this is like having a garden that you are constantly adding to and picking away at and you're never fully done with.

By the time we've completed putting this together, we've already shot a few other projects that would have a strong visual impact, but at a certain point you've got to give yourself a cutoff point and save some stuff for the next portfolio refresh! You're gonna have to keep your eyes peeled to see what else we've been cooking in the background ;)

Can’t believe it’s already been a month since we hosted our open house for the Swift Current Chamber of Commerce and showcased our story of how we moved into our current space and brought our studio to life :)
