As the growing season comes to an end reader Krista Morrison of Whitewood sent photos of some of her 2024 harvest. Krista freeze dries many of the vegetables for future use. This year she grew onions, garlic, horseradish, basil, parsley, cilantro, thyme, sage, kale and leafy greens, tomatoes, pumpkins, peppers, asparagus, strawberries, rhubarb, sweet potatoes, cucumbers, potato and spaghetti squash, and celery.
