I meant to upload this sooner, but it took longer than I expected to upload, but despite it taking longer than expected to upload it still falls on a good day to upload this. Today is the anniversary of the D-Day landings, the 80th anniversary. So while I didn't initially plan on this being the day to upload it turned out to be a great day to upload. Many people gave their lives on D-Day along with the other days of World War 2 and other days. Whether it's Memorial Day or not it's still important to remember their sacrifices when possible. So again today happened to be a good day to finally have this uploaded on the anniversary of D-Day.

I have been working with Otherworld Theatre Company. Helping with camera operating for their show Starship Edsel. A Star Trek theme improv show. For this episode it was a Star Wars parody tribute. It was for May the 4th the informal Star Wars holiday. It was pretty cool that we were able to do this on May 4th itself. Last bittersweet day at this local Chicago restaurant, Branko’s. Been there for many decades. I loved seeing the old fashion menu board on the walls. Good to see a large crowd for their last day. I read an article from Block Club Chicago that maybe they’ll open again in some form. Well if they open up again in some form I will be there to support them.

Chicago will become the first city to host a Sundance film event outside of its home in Park City, Utah. The fest runs June 28-30.
