company Tanchanco Trimedia Productions entilted, "Isang Lahi: Pearls From The Orient," aired nationwide as a two-part special on ABS-CBN's Sunday's Best in the wake of typhoon's Ondoy and Reming as a donation of hope to our fellowmen. The TV-movie showcased documentarists travelling across the archipelago interviewing people from all walks of life: bare-breasted tribes, century-old farmers, faith healers, monks, muslims, MNLF leaders, the Philippine Marines, businessmen, the youth, about their challenges in life and how they live well today. The best stories are dramatized and portrayed by our country's leading actors inspiring life into the stories, whilst the values and principles gleaned from the stories are conveyed and shared by our country's leading icon-experts from various fields, rendering the film informative and educational. The film culminates in the song "Isang Dugo, Isang Lahi, Isang Musika" ("One Blood, One Race, One Song") affirming that the hope we seek in living life well today, is in us all. Independently each team member has made a contribution in the film and TV industry through the production of top-rating, award-winning, longest-running quality shows that raise the consciousness of the Filipino for the Filipino. We have been adopted by the Philippine Embassy to New Zealand as its Commissioner for Tourism Diplomacy, assisting in her Universal Diplomacy initiatives helping create media content that helps bring awareness to the tourism and cultural value of the Philippines for world-wide viewership and appreciation - for the preservation of our culture and the promotion of our tourism and investment opportunities, assisting our country through media.
