The Dempsey Project hosted an exclusive preview of their brand new curated menu of dishes crafted by Little Green Kitchen and featuring HerbYvore Plant Protein Block as one of the key ingredients in some of their dishes! Just in time for us to indulge this and beyond 🌿✨

Golgappa Chaat!

Discovered that you can airfry ready made golgappa disks!!!🤯

So this was a quick lunch...once airfried (180°C for 5-6 mins, no oil needed!)
Filled them with spiced mashed potato and topped with yoghurt mixed with roasted cumin powder, homemade coriander chutney ( recipe always!), imli chutney, sev, chopped red onion and sev!

They do get a big soggy as they sit but still so good!!

June Food Dump... just some of the yummy things I made and ate! Happy Canada Day!! 🇨🇦🍁

1. Roasted red pepper hummus. A favourite, if you want the recipe lmk ill write one up!

3. Delicious smash dumplings, fun to make, and easy! (ecipe on my reels!)🥟💯
4. Apps at my fave bang bang buratta with youtiao and a morty d charcuterie board
5. Lemon meringue cupcakes for birthday party 🥳 loved these v much
6. Homemade smash burgers 🍔 wrinkly bun, homemade burger sauce, and bad chZ
7. Preserved 🍋 and chilli spatcock chicken and roasted veg with creamy mash
8. Creamy bacon and roasted pepper tart. Bacon and oregano bechamel, roasted peppers, and some gruyere on puff pastry💫
9. I practised folding some 🥟 which is very fun, and highly recommend to do if you want to get better at them. 🥰 Loved how they came out and used my pork and chive filling from the smashed dumpling reel
10. Steak sandwich 💯 with some rotated garlic mayo & leftover mushrooom sauce. Ace leftover sandwich 👌🏽

Overall, some decent eats in June. It's not all shown, but it's been a good one.

I love a fridge clear out dinner! Spicy bulgogi meatballs with some mushrooms, broccolini, and quinoa brown rice. I cheated with a bulgogi marinade i had in the fridge, which i keep for my lazy cooking days.
I used it to season the mince along with aromatics - ginger, garlic, onions, and coriander, plus some breadcrumbs to bind.

A super simple 30-minute meal that is bursting with flavour and great use of lurking veg and sauces in the fridge 😁

I dreamt about breakfast tacos, so we started our day with breakfast tacos 😅🌮 🥑

Soft, fluffy scrambled eggs, charred homemade tortillas. Topped off with coriander chutney, creamy avocado, fiery hot sauce, and some fresh coriander!

Btw the recipe for these de a delicious easy tortillas is coming to you next week!

These Strawberry cheesecake brownies are a treat!!! Good thing 🍓 are in season ey?!

What's your favourite strawberry treat?

🍰Cookie base, fudgy brownie and a creamy cheesecake with a homemade strawberry compote swirl.
🍓 The best part is that you don't need to let them sit overnight to set!!!! Just until cooled. So you can make them and enjoy in the same day!

ROSE & CARDAMOM BARFI CRUNCH BARS
**recipe to save**
It's holi!! And this is a delicious easy and colourful sweet to make. Mama gave me permission to share the family recipe 🥳. Mum and nani would usually double this recipe to make plenty to give away. The biscuit base adds a welcomed crunch!

Crust:
300g hob nobs, crushed (Or biscuit of choice)
1/4 cup melted unsalted butter

Milk barfi:
230g unsalted butter
1 cup whole milk
1 cup sugar
3 1/2 cups dried milk powder (Nido is best)
1/2 -1 tsp fresh ground cardamom
1/4 tsp salt

Garnish:
Dried edible rose petals
Chopped green pistachios
Saunf aka Mukhwas

1. Grease and line and a rimmed baking sheet with butter and parchment paper.
2. Mix the crushed biscuits with the butter until it looks like wet sand. Pour into the prepared baking sheet and press into an even flat layer. Set in the fridge until ready to use.
3. In a large non-stick saucepan over medium high heat, bring the milk and butter to a boil. Add the sugar and cook until its completely dissolved.
4. Add the milk powder, cardamom and salt. Stir thoroughly to combine.
5. Reduce the heat to medium and cook this mixture while stirring constantly. It will thicken as it cooks.
6. Once the mixture starts to pull away form the sides (about 10 minutes) it should be done. Test this by placing a small dollop on a plate and letting it sit. It if doesn't run and it holds it shape, it's ready.
7. Pour the mixture into the set crust and spread out evenly.
8. Once the top is just set, garnish with desired toppings. Press to adhere of needed.
9. Transfer to the fridge to chill completely and set
10. Using a very sharp knife, slice into pieces.
11. Enjoy!!

Good things come in dozens...donuts, eggs & eggs.
These Mango lassi donuts are outrageously fluffy and perfect for celebrating Holi this weekend!
A bright colourful yellow filling just like the yellow colour thrown which symbolises happiness, meditation and peace. A little green sprinkle of pistachio on top, for the start of spring and new beginnings.
