Now you can with National Geographic and Mallinson Sadler Production’s hit series Drain the Oceans! In their latest episode, The Myth of the Pacific Pirate Ship, archeologists uncover a 250-year-old shipwreck in the Pacific that points to a long-forgotten ancient trade route. Our folks were there to assist the Mallinson Sadler’s crew as they captured key interviews and b-roll at the Columbia River Maritime Museum and Short Sand Beach. The Atlantic ocean is no match for Atlantic TV!

Happy Birthday to the "University Challenge" and the BBC, from your friends at Atlantic TV!

For 60 years, BBC’s "University Challenge" has been a chance for university teams to test their knowledge and has been at the top of the British game show genre. To commemorate, the BBC looked back on "Challenge‘s" fan favorite contestants—one of whom was Brandon Blackwell, an American who competed with Imperial College London.

Atlantic interviewed Blackwell in his native Queens, New York, to talk about his time on the "Challenge" and his strategies for studying for the show. Our very own mastermind field producer conducted Blackwell’s walk-and-talk and his key interviews. Our DP captured the interview (and a plethora of beautiful b-roll!) with a tried-and-true Sony FX9 package.

Happy ! Here's a spotlight on a notable Female Cinematographer, Mandy Walker. Walker has been Director of Photography on many notable Hollywood films such as "Mulan (2020)" and "Hidden Figures (2016)." She is currently teaming up with Baz Lurhmann for "Elvis (2022)" set to come out this summer.

Continuing on our journey -- nearly 50 years after the historic 1965 march from Selma to Montgomery, director Ava DuVernay’s film Selma premiered. Chronicling the fight for African-Americans’ right to vote, the film went on to receive four Golden Globe nominations and two Academy Award nods, including Best Picture (it eventually would win both for Best Song).
