This hits hard.

My strongest prayers to his family, loved ones and fans across the world.

Chuck Roberts was hailed as the voice of house music for his instantly recognizable "In the beginning, there was Jack" spoken word sample.

International House Music Gospel Music vocalist Michael Watford, passed away tragically today.

He has worked with huge names in the Industry such as the Kerri Chandler, Masters At Work, Mentalinstrum aka Eddie X, and has graced labels such as Atlantic Records, King Street Recordings and many more.

Deepest thoughts and strongest prayers to the family, loved ones and fans world wide of Mr.Watford.

Listening to his voice on many of the albums I listened to while growing up was inspirational.

May you rest in the arms of the Almighty 🙏🏾❤️

Last night (after I sweated out for at least 3 hours), had the humbling the opportunity to meet a Chicago House DJ legend Roy Davis Jr.

This artist and producer is not only a true show stopper, but literally a legend in the game.

I've been listening to Mr. Davis's music since his "Get Large " compile that came out in 2005.

Watching the legends play or spin music, is awesome and even awe inspiring.

One of the first things I told Mr.Davis is that one day, I will be playing a set next to you and others in the future.

He then asked me if I threw down and played tracks? I didn't even hesitate to answer yes. Will Ellis AKA Firecat 451 even jokingly stated to have me cloned. Mr.Davis stated he wants to borrow my kneecaps due to me dancing so long.

Long story short, I have been inspired for years by many of my DJ heroes especially them coming here to Cincinnati, OH where the community maybe small, but Mighty.

Just blessed and inspired and it is only up from here.

A huge thank you to Roy Davis Jr. for the amazing set, all of the supporting acts as well as those who helped plan this event.

I will see you guys soon while I am on the decks!

We lost an icon.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of Harry Belafonte who was not only an incredible singer and actor, but a civil rights icon.

Harry Belafonte was a trail blazer in Black Civil rights and paved the way for many in music and in motion pictures.

My heart aches because of this as he was one of my heroes.

May you rest in peace and thank you for being one of the true voices for those of the Black Community and a champion of civil rights.

May you rest in peace and my strongest prayers to his family and those affected..

In the 1950s, when segregation was still widespread, his ascent to the upper echelon of show business was historic. But his primary focus was civil rights.

I am hearing strong rumors that House Music DJ, Jesse Saunders, whom was the first DJ to have his own House Music press as the artist released to the public titled "On & On," suffered a major stroke sometime this week.

DJs from all over within any genre of music, knows of whom this legend is and the impact that he has made.

DJs, keep this man in your strongest thoughts and prayers that he can at least make a strong and substantial recovery 🙏🏾❤️

Ramsey Lewis was an American jazz composer, pianist and radio personality.

Lewis recorded over 80 albums and received five gold records and three Grammy Awards in his career.

He has had collaborations with Earth Wind & Fire, Sting, the Ramsey Lewis Trio and many more..

He leaves us a legacy and one of the fore fathers of Jazz Music in Chicago and world wide..

Thank you for being a pioneer and trailblazer in Jazz Music.

May you rest in peace and my deepest respects and prayers for his family.

Good morning and blessings to all.

I recently just checked my inbox to see if I was one of the winners selected for the Defected Unsung Heroes DJ Competition by Pioneer; unfortunately, I wasn't selected.

I did my best and this gives me drive to continue to brand myself and to reinvigorate my brand of who I am as a DJ.

Does this mean stop? NO AND I WILL NOT!

Failure in life gives us opportunity to reflect and grow!

As long as God has every functioning organ in me and I still have my place of mind, I will not stop in my journey to get there as a DJ and someone who shows compassion, love, conviction and positivity in what I love to do!!

This train will not stop!

Congratulations to the winners selected, and I will release the mix this evening as New Elements Radio Competition Mix Special.

I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart. To those in my own City of Cincinnati, I thank you too. I thank those world wide that have been nothing but supportive and I won't lie, behind this picture are tears because it's in me to do what I love and I won't stop even if I get there.

With all the struggles that has been happening in the prior weeks, I can finally say that the seed is sprouting.

I'm not where I should be, but this is huge.

I made a Tweet tagging a producer of a track that I played at Mad Frog several weeks ago and didn't think anything of it.

House Music Heavyweight Producer Harry Romero (aka Harry Choo Choo Romero and Mongobonix), who is heavily known in the House and Hip-Hop community, re -tweeted my clip of me playing his produced track "Revolution," which is a chart buster with the Defected Records Label and owns a sub label of the Subliminal Recordings called "Bambossa."

This is one most rewarding things ever and I just love what I do.

I am not the best DJ nor would I ever claim to be; I just love what I do and always do my best to put my Maker FIRST IN ALL THAT I DO while at the same time, staying the course and remaining positive through the good times and the bad.

I have been humbled greatly and all I can do is keep moving forward!

This one's for you Cincinnati and to all Nation Wide and World Wide who have supported me thus far, my heart is over joyed, I am honored and grateful. ✊🏾

Had an amazing time last night at the Madfrog with the amazing and talented DJs, that helped support the event with Chicago House DJ legend, DJ Colette.

A complete honor and it was a blast!!

Hopefully soon down the road, I'd love to have the opportunity play and perform at one of her shows.
