****NEWSFLASH*** Just to let you know that Claptrap won’t be opening as normal this Sunday, 14th July, so obviously there will be no open mic. We'll be back with a bang on Sunday 21st July.

***NEWSFLASH*** unfortunately KINGS of HONG KONG can no longer perform their support slot at Claptrap tomorrow, best wishes for a speedy recovery. Stepping in (to the light) are local beat combo Flying Ant Day - on stage at 3.30pm sharp. Advance tickets for The return of Roddy Radiation & The Skabilly Rebels plus Flying Ant Day will be available from wegottickets.com until 1.00pm tomorrow. After that you can pay on the door from 3.00pm.

We have huge weekend coming up for Shenanigans Music at Claptrap the venue. First up, on Friday 21st June, we are hosting Shenanigans Showcase - Martha's Needle, Taylor Giacoma, Melissa Gooding. Then, on the afternoon of Sunday 23rd, it's The return of Roddy Radiation & The Skabilly Rebels plus Kings of Hong Kong, doors open at 3.00pm. Tickets are still available online for both gigs at wegottickets.com. Our usual Sunday Shenanigans Open Mic will be on as normal on the evening from 7pm.. **SPECIAL OFFER** Anyone who can show us their ticket for the Roddy gig, or online purchase confirmation, will be able to get into Friday's Showcase gig for free.

3 weeks to go until a bumper Shenanigans Music weekend. Friday 21st June we have our latest Shenanigans Showcase - Martha's Needle, Taylor Giacoma, Melissa Gooding. Then we'll have a splendid Sunday afternoon on 23rd, with The return of Roddy Radiation & The Skabilly Rebels plus Kings of Hong Kong. We'll finish the day off in the usual manner with Sunday Shenanigans Open Mic. Spot the difference. The picture on the left was taken Friday 17/05/24 at 7.23am, the other on Saturday 18/05/24 at 7.13am. Correct, yet a-f**king-nother A3 poster nicked from the door for The Monochrome Set plus Flying Ant Day gig tonight. Doors open at 8pm, advance ticket sales end at 6pm (online) or 5pm if paying cash at Record Culture. Any remaining tickets will be available on the door.
