Our upcoming releases sound great across the airwaves - thanks for your support, Gideon!

Last night’s show on BBC 6 Music had killer picks, new and old, including “New You” from My Bloody Valentine, and a song from MBV’s Deb Googe (with Cara Tivey) from their forthcoming album “The Golden Thread”. And a song from Helen McCookerybook, whose new solo album “Showtunes from the Shadows”, which will be out in just two weeks, and one from her former band, The Chefs. But the whole show was ace, listen here:

Gideon Coe plays the music he loves from every era and genre: new, old & archive sessions.

The Best Of 2024 lists keep coming! 🏅

Thanks for choosing the Eilidh Bradley Project as last year’s no. 1 EP:

“…I Know Something and Be With You offer 10,000 Maniacs-style jangle-pop with dulcet, muscular jangled riffs that all combine to add the slightest element of mania which is ultimately staved off by Bradley’s voice, with its perfect timing and powerful femininity.

The other two tracks, Who Am I and I Need, are smoother than the above-controlled abrasion music. Here, the sound becomes increasingly jangly and moves into the deeper end of the 80s jangle-pop sweetness of the less commercial end of The Bangles sound…”

We were honored to be able to finally release these lost gems, all thanks to and !

Check out this in-depth, heartfelt interview with Keeley on all things music, including the making of ‘Beautiful Mysterious’, being on the road, their creative process, influences, and more!

‘It’s not so much “Die young, and leave a good looking corpse” as “Die old, and leave a good-looking discography”!’. Well said!

Keeley Moss is an artist whose work blurs the boundaries between music and storytelling. In this interview she describes the creative process behind her concept album Beautiful Mysterious, inspired by the life and legacy of Inga Maria Hauser. If you ordered a copy of Band Of Holy Joy’s ‘Scorched Jerusalem’ before the release date was pushed back due to demand, they’re on their way. Later orders will ship in a couple of weeks.

Thanks to everyone who has supported this album and listened to it with the attention it deserves. ‘Scorched Jerusalem’ doesn’t shy away of some of the worst moments of the past few years but it also offers beauty, depth, and hope. It’s an incredible work of art we’re proud to have released.

We end the year on a high note by announcing a superb forthcoming release by da Googie and Cara Tivey ✨

Deb Googe (bassist for My Bloody Valentine, Primal Scream, Thurston Moore, and Brix Smith) has shown seemingly endless range and talent, but it's with pianist Cara Tivey -an accompanist for everyone from Billy Bragg to Blur - that offers the realisation of a wholly new sound, a vast artistic leap into the future for both musicians.

“The Golden Thread” displays an astounding amount of ideas and contradictory elements: a fragile yet doomed sense of beauty, dense minimalism and open-ended claustrophobia -something truly new.

NEW RELEASE!

We’re delighted to announce ‘The Golden Thread’.

Having lived with it here at Tiny Global HQ for a few months now, we understand it as a brilliant work and something that will last. It’s an epic original work.

The sheer number of great artists Deb Googe and Cara Tivey have played with over the years - My Bloody Valentine, Billy Bragg, Blur, Brix Smith, Thurston Moore, Primal Scream, Rob Lloyd (!) and more - make it damned hard to classify ‘The Golden Thread’, the first album by either to include their names on the front cover.

Deb’s on bass and provides vocals, Cara plays piano. There’s a bit of programming. Yet it’s a description that tells nothing of the story. The result is a work of art.

The Golden Thread has eight brilliant songs which contain a bagful of astounding number of ideas and contradictory elements: open-ended claustrophobia, dense minimalism, a fragile-yet-doomed form of aching beauty.

Thanks to Deb's artistry and editing skills, there's a video for the first song we’re making public, “Dumb”. It’s built around public domain footage, schoolyard chants, and a heap of political subtext . . a slow-growing earworm unlike any other you'll hear again soon. Watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SI8yGjlnsNo

We’re offering a Bandcamp exclusive gold-vinyl version we expect to go very quickly, as well as black vinyl, compact disc and digital versions.

Head over to Bandcamp and hear it! You’ll thank us.

Our label Tiny Global Productions have just launched an amazing remix of "Forever Froze" from our latest album 'Beautiful Mysterious'. It's been expertly remixed by our producer Alan Maguire under his Magus alias. Louderthanwar has just published a feature with all the details. The track is on Bandcamp as a 'pay what you want' item, so it's effectively free to download, and it's our gift to our followers for being so supportive in 2024, our best year yet! Love, Keeley 💙 https://louderthanwar.com/keeley-release-new-remix-of-forever-froze-from-their-ltw-top-100-album/

Nathan Whittle at Louderthanwar compiled a great list this year, and we’re delighted to have four records among the Top 100 for 2024.

We work hard to reach as many music lovers as possible because every one of our artists is adding something unique and transformative to the world.

More music was released per day in 2024 than was released in all of 1989, so competition is incredibly tough. We don’t take anything for granted.

To see four of our artists recognised here is a joyous event - more than any other label, except Domino! And according to Ged Babey, J***y Brown’s fab “Gut Feels” would have been on the list, but he thought it’d had come out at the end of 2023!

Many thanks to the tireless work of music writers whose love for great music is unending, and to music fans of all stripes.

Poppycock: Magic Mothers “Poppycock are a predominantly female collective built around Una Baines, a founder member of both The Fall and Blue Orchids, and a symbolic godmother to many Mancunian artists and musicians who cite her as an aspiration and mentor (…)”. Ged Babey

David Lance Callahan: Down To The Marshes “(…) This is music that goes beyond the underground and these songs are the soundtrack to the now, national treasure stuff that needs to be heard”. John Robb

KEELEY: Beautiful Mysterious “(…) This is a beautiful record, in which you hope Keeley did not lose too much of herself in its process, and that the compassion and empathy were tempered by the hope and resilience displayed in its music (…)”. MK Bennett.

HOUSE Of ALL: Continuum “(…) this is just a fu***ng fire of five individuals who still want to play and keep us aware of talent that never dies whilst staying true to their original purpose in life. THE MUSIC. Led by a true bingo master in the form of Martin Bramah. who could tell you a thing or two that the Hanleys couldn’t in his time, he is also a master of the spoken word / sprech without a carrier bag to store the lyrics in. It’s all up there”. Wayne Carey
