Hey!

I know it's been a while since my last check-in. I have a few updates for you, but first... I know I kind of left you hanging with the cover reveal of my next book. (Honestly, time has been going by so quickly!) So, here it is!

This cover was the clear winner in the poll, receiving over 50% of the votes! I have to say I am very happy with how it turned out. Special thanks to Vanessa over at Archangel Ink for designing such a fantastic cover!

Now, here are a few more updates about the new book...

I've spent the last few weeks in "edit mode," which is part of why I've been MIA. (My wife and I also just got back from a mini vacation to celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary! We stayed at a hotel in Orlando, Florida... And since we happen to live in Orlando, Florida, that made it easy!) But the manuscript is now complete, and I just received the final formatted version. I'll be giving it one final read-through this weekend to look for any last typos, so please pray that God will give me hawk eyes. :) (Of course, the best way to get all the typos to come out of their hiding places is to publish it... only then do you spot them all!)

Assuming all goes well with this final read and there are no major hiccups, I've set a release date of Tuesday, October 10th! Between now and then, I've got some cool things lined up.

First, I still need to select the 3 winners to receive a free copy of the book. Over 200 of you voted in the cover poll, and I am so grateful to you. You helped me choose an awesome cover! Next week, I'll be randomly selecting 3 names from everyone who voted. Again, I apologize for how long it has taken me to select the winners... I've just been laser-focused on trying to get this book completed.

And then, very soon, I'll be opening up spots to join my ARC Team! What's an ARC, you ask? No, it's not the big boat Noah built!

ARC stands for Advanced Review Copy. People on this team are given a free digital copy of the book a couple of weeks before it launches. Then, on release day, they leave a review on Amazon. I did this with my last book; it was a lot of fun! I will post soon about how you can join the team.
