Jumping for joy because I'm super stoked to participate next month at SIGGRAPH Conferences for in Denver, CO, the premier conference in computer graphics and interactive techniques. Some of you know how this conference has been instrumental in my career, but each year I look forward to learning the latest industry innovations from across the world. In addition, I'm excited to reconnect with the people I met over the years, some new faces and I'll be speaking on how attendees and members of ACM SIGGRAPH can get involved.

A passion project that’s been a labour of love to allow more people to experience the annual SIGGRAPH Conferences with the ACM SIGGRAPH Underrepresented Travel Grant for ! Find out how it came together and the eligibility to apply before applications close on 13 March 2024!

ACM SIGGRAPH is offering the Underrepresented Communities Travel Grant to support attendance to SIGGRAPH 2024.

Jennifer and I purpled up to watch The Color Purple! 💜 I loved the reimagined version of the beloved classic. It had me all up in my feels with laughter, anger, tears and empowerment, but its the vibrancy in the cinematography, music, and storytelling. I can see why the cast and crew is getting and deserve recognition for awards. If you’re looking for a film to see at the theaters, I hope you consider 💟

Today’s the start of The Leaders Readers Network’s Read Together Now campaign to collectively raise $35,000 through Giving Tuesday on November 28, 2023. You know I love giving back and community service through a variety of ways to causes dear to my heart including this one. I’ve been a volunteer during this organization’s early days in late 2012 and honoured to serve on its board to make students, educators and librarians have access equal access to brand new books, leadership development opportunities, and support school projects. Growing up in a British and American education systems i’ve come to understand quickly how valuable these types of resources can impact the trajectory of a students learning.

It’s the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix this weekend at The Circuit of The Americas in Austin, TX. Unfortunately, I won’t be volunteering nor attending this year, but will be cheering the team on. I feel humbled but also get a good giggle to hear the behind the scenes from a couple of friends working the event giving pointers or a friendly ear. This pictured experience was back in 2019 for the Imagine Dragons and Pink concerts after the races. If you’re attending or watching, please be courteous to the staff, partners and community members who put the extraordinary events together, not just , but year round. 🏎️

Got to hang(out) quite literally to celebrate turning the big 3-0 this upcoming week at and face those fears of heights (again). 😂😬 I felt safe, present, and a ton of fun thanks to guides Thatcher and Ryan as well as this awesome zip line group. A bucket list experience worthwhile!

It’s the U.S. Mother’s Day. This pic was taken last month when we took an emergency trip together to help take care of a close family friend in Florida, who was going through a life-changing surgery. During the same time, we also had a couple other close people in our lives going through important surgeries too and we needed a mental break for the day to process. Fortunately, all the surgeries from those people were successful and the weather was favorable for one day on our quick trip so we went to my mum’s favourite spot — the beach. It was a valuable experience for the time for a son and mother to have and don’t take none of it for granted. I also want recognize how hard Mother’s Day can be for others, especially…
-those who lost their mother
-have a strained relationship with a mother
-complicated relationship with their mother
-mothers who lost mothers
-those yearning to be mothers

Let’s be kind to these individuals too.

Last night, I was honoured to be named one of ’s 32 Under 32 list with my fellow colleague . I was so touched to have my GSD&M colleagues came to celebrate and to meet the fellow honourees in the advertising industry in the Austin, TX area. This honour is a meaningful one to recognized from your peers, to reflect on my career up to this point and the hope for the future still to come. I am humbled with gratitude by the support near and far from colleagues past and present, family, friends and mentors along the way.

It was a beautiful day for a 4 mile hike in North Austin with to log steps for ’s step challenge for . We came across a patch of Texas bluebonnets along a trail. Jenn & I also made a team called Cuzzie’s Crew in LINK IN BIO for those who want to join now through April 30, 2022. Special thanks to those who have already donated and logged steps to support military kids.

I purpled up to support charity 's Fun Run Fundraiser to collectively make 10 million steps in honour of for the 2 million military children, who had a family member deployed since 2001. I grew up as a USAF military kid and align with this organization's mission to provide resilience resources to hundreds of thousands of military kids worldwide.
