After a week of using we have our verdict. It’s a smash hit, so much so my baby takes his tooth brush on the drive to school 🤣.
My 5 year old loves the hourglass feature as it gives her a visual of how long she should be brushing. The fruity toothpaste is lovely addition. Though my baby loves it a bit more than my fussy 5 year old but we will get there 🤞🏽😊

She tired but boy she is excited! In 3 days I embark on a lot of first.
First international trip, first time away from my kids and first time traveling alone.
Like what is my life even. I would have never guessed this is something I would be doing but here for all of it.

Happy International Women’s Day!
As a girl mom and a girl child to a mom, I find it so important to be present and representative of all that a woman can do and be! My mom has shown me that and now I want to do that for my baby girl.

When the internet says “clean girl aesthetic” is done.
I am just going to lean into it more.
Honestly this fashion trend has been transformative for me for 2 reasons.

1. It’s made me love my face more, not hiding behind my hair, or contouring or anything.

2. It’s helped me be comfortable with different silhouettes, I now wear loose and baggy when I want and not scared of it making me look “bigger”.
So it think it’s here to stay for me.

And with that the summer holidays are over! With both kids at school today. WOW the silence in my home right now is deafening and as much as I miss them, I am happy to be back to a more structured routine.
I’ve been back at work since the 2nd of Jan and juggling kids, work, house work each day is a lot! So I am really keen to focus on my craft, having moments to myself and doing things at a much slower pace.

Just a casual SAHM look 😊✌🏻
A few things I have learned recently regarding my body and dressing post baby no.2
1. I have been wearing the wrong bra size and wow what a difference that makes when you get it right. So treat your girls better ladies.
2. I have been adding to my dress size by wearing an under shirt/vest 🙈 I’ve been doing this since high school and we going to stop this now.
3. Formal pants are for everyday especially with a plain T and sneakers. You do not need to be in formal setting to wear formal pants.
4. Getting dressed even when you have no where to be or go makes you feel 100% better than staying in sweats all day every day.

The CURLS are making a comeback. After going natural during the pandemic, I grew to love my natural curl, nurturing my hair back to health after years of damage.
Since then I took a 2 year break from the curly girl method due to it being too time consuming and not finding products I really enjoyed.
Talk about perfect timing, I just got a new haircut and launches some curly girl products. They developed this with some curly girls, it’s 98% natural origins and it’s vegan.
My first impressions of the coil nourishing cream is a 10/10. It does what it says and zero flakes!

As a new born, Alexander struggled with colic, indigestion and just being a little grumpy. But there was one thing that made him the happiest and till this day, a lovely bath and massage. It really helped with the winds and tension in his tiny body. Not to mention he slept so much better post massage with the oil.
You should see the smile on his face 🥹🤎

New season is that you? I’ve been gone for a while and you are probably wondering why. If you ain’t, I gon tell you anyway 🤣
I am moving into my full time bag! Full time running and being a content creator while being home with my baby boy 😊.
This wasn’t a decision taken lightly and life kinda pushed me into making this decision but it’s time. Time to see what I am made of. So your girl is going to be super active her and I am really calling on you guys to support me, pray for me and engage with me. It will be so much appreciated.

& so my last month of maternity leave begins. Praying most days look like this before heading back to work full time again. It’s honestly surreal that this boy will be 3 months this week meaning the end of the 4th trimester 🥹.
Am I looking forward to it ending? Yes and No. Yes because then all the new born struggles will be over ie colic. And No, I am not ready for this baby boy to grow. I forgot how fast this goes.
So let’s make the most of this month 🥹🤎

Not achieving much these days in the way of productivity. However I gotta say I have perfected my omelettes 😋
I find that getting a good solid breakfast in is so good when in the 4th trimester especially when baby is all about that contact nap.
I make sure I make myself a good one even if it means baby boy has to cry for a few seconds while I put something together.

This is the first baby item I got when I found out I was pregnant with Alexander & it finally fits 🥹.
Loved the Harry Potter theme of it & low key is superior! Check out the built in mittens. My little guy’s hands are always cold so I am loving this detail.

The good and the not so good coexist. We can’t deny that. As much as I am in the bliss of motherhood, enjoying my new born and seeing my 1st born bloom into a big sister. There are moments where I miss her. Her being “me” in the height of my confidence. There are shades of her, here and there but it’s in and amongst, the constant cleaning, nappy changing, pretend play, self doubt, motherhood fails & meal prepping.
After 9 months of pregnancy and a month postpartum, I am looking forward to finding her again or a newer, better version of her.

Brushing teeth with an “anything goes” child and a “ I like things my way” child makes this time of the day a little tricky. Working from home has its benefits and its pitfalls. Pitfalls in that you can often neglect having a good lunch when being heads down on work.
