Public Service CS Hon Justin Muturi then Attorney General and Member of The National Security Council tells DCI in this statement that his son Leslie was abducted by NIS officers and only released on President Ruto's intervention after frustrations by top security chiefs.

Kenya is indeed an interesting country. The Attorney General is a member of the National Security Council pursuant to Article 240 of the Constitution.

However, JB Muturi called DG NIS Haji several times but he refused to pick his phone.

The DG NIS lied to the CS Interior (who is also a member of the NSC) that he did not have the son to the AG.

It only took the President’s intervention for him to acknowledge holding the young man and later releasing him.

Iif such a powerful individual like the AG can go through such horrific ordeal,what befalls the common mwananchi who has no direct access to the DG NIS, CS interior nor the President when their children get abducted?

Does this mean that the security apparatus in Kenya only serve the President and the common people remain mere subjects of the state?
