🚨 Instagram Update Alert! 🚨

Instagram just rolled out a new update: the grid view on profiles has switched from the classic 1:1 square ratio to a 4:5 rectangular ratio.

What does this mean for my clients?

👉 Your profile grid will have a slightly different look
👉 Any templates we’ve designed in the square format will be updated to fit the new rectangular style.
👉 Going forward, all your posts will be optimized for this new format to ensure they look their best!

Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp all experienced temporary disruptions in their service on December 11th. Users had issues with logging in, posting, receiving messages and more. ⁠

When this happens it's always a good reminder that we need have other options to communicate with our audiences. Whether that is by email, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter, etc. ⁠

Outages like this can be tough for businesses if they happen to land on a launch day or right in the middle of a campaign, or scary for business owners if they aren't able to get into their account and think they may have been hacked. ⁠
