This coming Friday 10 January Armor of God Catholic Radio will debut 2 new Local programs:

School Spirit (Fridays at 1200 & Sundays at 1200) - highlights all the great and wonderful things that our Catholic Schools are doing for our children and grandchildren. We'll take a look at the unique aspects of Catholic Schools and dive into each one of them individually. We'll talk with Priests, Principals, Teachers & Staff, current and former Students, and others as we all learn how important Catholic Schools are to all of us.

What Would Father Say (Fridays at 1230 & Sundays at 1230) - featuring the one and only Father John Guzaldo, from Saint Luke Catholic Church in Temple, will join us each week for a no-holds-barred take on everything!! A little current events, a little Catechesis, and a LOT of humor. This will be one you won't want to miss!!

Here's hoping everyone is enjoying the Christmas Season (don't be afraid to remind our neighbors that it's the 12 Days AFTER Christmas that make up the season)!!!
Over the course of the next few days we're going to be broadcasting some very special Christmas music programs, featuring the Copperas Cove ISD and Copperas Cove High School Choir Booster Club Ensemble Choir's Christmas Program, our Institute of Catholic Culture friends - Floriani Sacred Music, and a performance from the Williamson county symphony.
Here is the schedule - there are repeats so that you can tune in and listen more than once:
Friday 27 Dec - 8am - CCISD Ensemble Choir

Our Lady of Loreto is a title of the Blessed Virgin Mary associated with the house where Mary was born, the site of the Annunciation, and the dwelling place of the Holy Family. The tradition and history of the Holy House goes back to Apostolic times. In the 13th century the house was mysteriously moved in one piece from Nazareth in the Holy Land to a final resting place in Loreto, Italy, carried by angels, a miracle to which the Church attests. It was transported to prevent its destruction by Muslims who destroyed the basilica which housed it. A new basilica was built around the Holy House in Italy, known as the Shrine of Our Lady of Loreto, one of the most popular pilgrimage sites in the world. Written at the door of the basilica are these words: "The whole world has no place more sacred … For here was the Word made Flesh, and here was born the Virgin Mother." Our Lady of Loreto is the patron of aviators, fliers, pilots, and builders. Her feast day is December 10th.

Happy Feast Day of St. Frances Cabrini! She truly made a remarkable impact through her dedication to education and healthcare. Her establishment of Columbus Hospital in New York was a pivotal moment that paved the way for her to expand her mission across the Americas and Europe. Her legacy of compassion and service continues to inspire many today.
