It’s important to hear the stories from people like Jon. as he is one of the last of a truly pioneering generation who genuinely broke boundaries. John is still leading expeditions today and he is 86 years old. I think we could all learn something from him!

I had to share these gorgeous photos just recieved from John for an article he was writing about his childhood adventures growing up on Jersey. His father was a Vicar and had a deep love of wildlife as shown here with the family pets including a monkey ! Such a magical upbringing gave such firm foundations for Johns life of adventure.

But you can see the naughty glint in his eyes even at that young age ! Thank you John for sharing these. My boys will be hankering for a Guinea pig when they see this.
