Somn’thing Records is the fast-rising house label head
ed up by DJ/production duo Somn3um (aka David Newsum & Scott Forshaw). The label was launched in January 2016 and since then has gone from strength to strength, releasing the hottest house cuts from Somn3um, as well as the likes of Kodos, Rare Candy, Freejak, Matt Darey, Damon Hess, Paul Morrell, Hollaphonic and many more. Somn’thing Records was created with the philosophy of releasing music not just from the Somn3um studio, but from their friends and artists they admire and respect. The sound ranges from garage-inflected deep house, summer infused piano anthems, and full-on big room tech house. In addition to the label, Somn’thing have launched their global radio show Somn’thing Else. The show is presented by label bosses Somn3um, with their weekly dose of the freshest electronic music on the planet, plus all the banter you could possibly want.
