The fun of having children in college is also a bit of sadness. Unfortunately, GM James has to cancel today's session, as his oldest son is moving into his very first apartment. It is with great sadness that..... WHO AM I KIDDING???? My kids are more important! :) So, while I am sorry that we can't have a show tonight, I'm spending the day with my oldest son, which is infinitely more important to me!

Hey folks, GM James here with some updates.

As you may have noticed, our Savage Rifts and Deadlands: Lost Colony shows have not released in a while. I am sitting on a couple of episodes for each of them, that I still need to go through post-production for. I will get those out as my crazy life allows.

After that, though, those two shows will join "Tales from the Deadlands" on hiatus. "The Savage Snows" will continue production. There are many, myriad reasons for this, but the biggest ones are as follow:

First and foremost, my family and I are still on the search for our forever home here in NE Ohio. It has been very trying and stressful, as we have hit setbacks due to shady sellers, and there is not a lot on the market in our area. As such, we remain living with my wife's parents until we can find a place.

Second, I have a very busy career as a Transport Paramedic for a premiere children's hospital. My job requires lots of extra time on my part, due to education requirements I must fulfill in the first two years. I nearly have them all completed in my first year here, and I am grinding through them as fast as I can. Those of you who also work in medicine know what I am going through.

Third, because of the added stress due to the first two, my mental health is suffering. I need to take some time to get that sorted out. Nothing drastic, just the exacerbation of my pre-existing anxiety and PTSD issues.

What an amazing last day of "Night Train," yesterday! The posse of "heroes" were both the most successful and least successful of the weekend, and paid the biggest price! Due to deciding to camp five miles away from Varney Flats, the fine folk of that frontier town paid the ultimate price and were taken by the Night Train. However, the posse were able to find the train during the day while it hid in an unmarked spur, just as it was leaving to head out for another town! With a few sticks of dynamite, the Ghost Rock™️ powered engine was destroyed, causing the entire train to derail and exposing the nosferatu inside to the fading sunlight. Sadly, two members of the posse died during the explosion and resulting crash!
GM James wants to thank everyone who came and played! He will be running it at Gen Con this year, as well as PAX Unplugged! We look forward to seeing all the new folks ready to take on this classic, deadly adventure! We would also like to thank John Goff for writing this amazing adventure and Pinnacle Entertainment Group for publishing it!

Day Two has been completed! More folks have joined as Arkenforge users! And 4 more heroes took on the Night Train! Another near success, as the posse of heroes managed to not only push the Nosferatu out of Varney Flats, but hopped onto the train and unhooked the box car, aka the Nosferatu's "Meat" larder! Many more folks were saved, all at the cost of another hero. Maybe GM James will get his TPK tomorrow, during his last running of the 25th Anniversary Edition of "Night Train!"

What an amazing group for the first playthrough of Night Train at Gary Con Gaming Convention! Our 4 heroes managed to stave off the Nosferatu threat from Varney Flats, but did not stop the trainload of vampiric badness! The Nosferatu live to fight another day! And only one of the heroes got Goff'ed! A big thank you to Gina, Andy, Edward, and Alex for making the first game an amazing success! Keep it Savage, friends!
