Huge thank you to everyone who helped make the premiere weekend of BAD THINGS HAPPEN HERE so special! The turn out was amazing and we heard so many positive things about our movie! We're so happy that the impact and message of the film hit audiences the way we wanted! It was a long, hard road to get here, but it was well worth it! Why is Shoreline Players premiering a horror movie? Well, we want to tell you a story about a kid who didn't fit into the traditional school offerings. He wasn't an athlete. He wasn't a band kid. But he was creative in other ways and thankfully he found his place at his community theater, SPYDA Shoreline Players Youth Drama Association. A place where he didn't feel different, where he felt like he fit in and he could do the things that interested him. Now, after years of hard work, this young man, Nikk Bergman, has created his own production company Wendigoh Pictures. He's written and directed many short films, and two feature-length films, one currently on Prime Video and the other, Bad Things Happen Here Official, premiering with us and also going to Prime Video. Nikk and some of his team started in community theater and are a perfect example of why community theater matters.
