Come see talented young artists throughout New York City at the FREE Back to School Concert and Talent Contest on Saturday, September 7th, 2013 at Roy Wilkins Park in Jamaica Queens. The night will be MC'd by Bow Wow, featuring performances from Maino, DJ Self, Super Star J, I Am Reilly, Slow Buck, TL, DJ G Money, DJ Ruff Hands, and the Rockaway Twins. Plus, youth from across New York City will ha
ve a chance to be featured on stage. Artists interested in performing are asked to send a link to a YouTube video to [email protected], the top 25 viewed videos will perform on stage. In the video, no background music can accompany the selection and appropriate clothing must be worn (ie: no sheer clothing or saggy pants). Tickets for the concert are FREE and those interested in attending must call 718-523-4357.The places where you can pick up tickets are listed below. And come early, because the first 3,000 attendees will be given "swag bags" for school. Plus, 2,000 book bags and GAP clothes will be distributed, and lap tops will be raffled away.
