ZQLS - GENERAL OF TROOPS

ZQLS makes his debut release on Impulsive Records with this Hard Trance roller which has deep sentimental meaning for the up and coming producer.

A cavernous bassline gives the track its identity, its low and cruises throughout the track in harmonious fashion but its the vocal sample that takes pride of place bringing a true authenticity to the track.

Layered throughout the track is clever percussion, ominous sounding leads and a healthy does of 303 which all combines to compliment the rolling groove.

Get ready to step into the darker side of Hard Trance with Ian Underground's latest creation.

A strong use of gated effects and a classic Ian Underground kick drum set the tone straight from the intro before a deep and vigorous bass drives this track further underground and into a state of severe raving madness. You'll hear how an atmosphere takes over with the cleverly composed timbre and feeling this track gives out and the vocal sample adds and extra level of mood to the whole proceedings.

The breakdown is a finely constructed piece of breakbeat accompanied with an extra dollop of effects and expert filtering which flows seamlessly into the introduction of the main lead which flows through until the piece de resistance of this track, a mighty 303 that will have you salivating on the dance floor!

Lumonde lands on Impulsive Records with an emotionally driven EP which will bring you up into a state of ecstasy.

Emotive melodies extend bountifully throughout the title track 'Bass Evolution' building a sense of euphoria before bringing it home with a clubland style main drop. Its a proper bit of uplifting trace with a powerful kick and bass combo.

The 2nd track on the EP is called Conscious and Lumonde's style has more room to showcase itself. Starting off with a bouncy intro and subtle 303 the track builds up in a teasing fashion before evolving into a wondrous breakdown which will send you into a psychic state until pulling you back round when the beat kicks in.

We will be kicking off 2024 in true Free Party Hard Trance style as we welcome DJ Omega to Impulsive Records.

Omega is influenced heavily by the golden era of UK homegrown FPHT and seamlessly incorporates his own style whilst paying homage to the producers that inspired his creativity.

This track carries itself extremely well with tantalising percussion and an endearing melody progression which is spread across a combination of synths with a prominent 303 throughout.

Ravishingly heavy in the kick and bass department this beat is bound to cause mayhem on the dancefloor whenever its played. Welcome to the label DJ Omega!

NEXT UP ON IMPULSIVE 🔊

A heavyweight debut release from Futurekix accompanied by an acid fuelled remix from Die-Ode.
The original track is an emotive composition right from the intro as it leads blissfully into a short stabby bassline powered by a mighty kick drum which becomes the backbone of the tune. Catchy melodies playout on top of an underlining acid pattern up towards the main breakdown. The breakdown ushers in a moment of calm and a euphoric timbre before gently building and rising into the crescendo which boasts a galloping melody as the show piece.

Die-ode's acid mix is darker straight from the off. A glimpse of the empowering acid line in the intro marks the beginning of a new direction for this track. A big double bass accelerates alongside punchy 303's and tidy percussion up to the breakdown which in similarity with the original starts out blissful and mellow before rising up to a melodic main drop. The final section of the track sees the acid take over as it seamlessly interacts with the outro melodies just as it has across the whole track.

HEDONISTIC - PSYCHEDELIC EP - (OUT 18/11/2022)

Old school meets the new era in this two track EP from Hedonistic. Keeping true to his original style of chunky rhythmic basslines and splashes of 90's rave sound bites 'I Just Can't Stop' is an energetic sonorous experience littered with splashes of big synth rave arrangement whilst the main hook is a lilting melody that will take you on a journey across the dancefloor.
Not content with limiting his production prowess to the sounds of raves gone by Hedonistic is keen to demonstrate his ear for the new era of Free Party Hard Trance. 'Psychedelic' is the harder track of the two on this EP comprising of a deep bassline, shuffling percussion, eerie FX and a hallucinogenic inspired sample. The main riff is expertly layered and executed it will no doubt generate full mosh potential.
