Ahmad Ali Lewis is a recording artist, songwriter, motivational speaker, author, and academic. Ahmad entered the music industry at age 17 with his hit song Back in the Day. Back In The Day is respected as a monumental hip-hop track that has received widespread industry recognition, and has been featured in several feature films including The Wood. Back in the Day has been sampled by artists such as Mariah Carey and The Dream. Beyond this timeless contribution to the music industry, Ahmad has written songs for a variety of artists, including Earth, Wind & Fire, LMFAO, Leela James and Flo Rida. Joey Sylvester, an award-winning filmmaker and owner of the production company Picture Twelve, has earned numerous awards and accolades as a director and as a producer. Sylvester has directed top tier talent, including Oscar and Golden Globe winners who have appeared on the big screen as well as prominent Emmy and SAG winners. The broad spectrum of Sylvester’s professional interests has allowed him to produce a wide range of pieces within various genres. Sylvester’s directorial debut, In The Land Of Opportunity premiered at FESPACO Film Festival in Burkina Faso, West Africa. The film was later featured on the BBC. Chosen to screen at the Gene Siskel Film Center in Chicago, critics called it “an impressive and well-crafted film.”
Sylvester directed the feature comedy "Walk A Mile In My Pradas." The film has worldwide distribution. Currently, he's directing a slapstick television comedy with vibrant characters.
