IN honor of Christmas we thought we'd share about St. Nick himself!

🎅 The real story of Santa Claus starts with St. Nicholas, born in 3rd-century Patara (modern-day Turkey). Raised as a devout Christian, he used his inheritance to help the poor, sick, and suffering. As Bishop of Myra, he became famous for his generosity, love for children, and care for sailors.

He endured persecution under Emperor Diocletian but remained steadfast in his faith. St. Nicholas passed away on December 6, 343 AD, and his legacy of kindness inspired the beloved figure we know today.
