Each year, EyeCandy offers UCSC students the chance to enroll in the Film 185X course. Providing the opportunity to experience the ins and outs of a student run publication, EyeCandy attempts to present a platform for film students intrigued to work as a team in order to reach their publication goal. re-release buzz around EyeCandy leading up to the release of the print journal in spring, and a website designed to work in conjunction with the articles featured in the print edition, EyeCandy acts as a three tiered multi-media outlet. A great way of uniting the creative interests of the UCSC community, EyeCandy accepts art submissions of videos, photos, drawings, and paintings from any UCSC student. Offering one of the more unique course experiences on the UC Santa Cruz campus, EyeCandy combines the academic aspect of the university experience with the professionalism of a print publication.
