Introdoucing the brand new Pro Landscaper Project Awards, in association with Provender Nurseries! The PLPA's are a new awards initiative designed to highlight and celebrate fantastic landscaping projects.

The Pro Landscaper Project Awards appreciate the complexities of designing and building a space on a relatively tight budget. In fact, it’s often hard to get the ‘wow factor’ within these restrictions.

With 11 categories https://buff.ly/41fAbzi and a stellar list of judges https://buff.ly/41Anyik for 2023, the Pro Landscaper Project Awards will be something you don't want to miss out on.

Following the huge success of the Pro Landscaper Business Awards on Friday, we want to give a big shout out to our team who represented the business with pure professionalism, they really enjoyed the atmosphere and chatting to all the guests.
Our gratitude goes to them all as we couldn’t do any of it without them - they are truly appreciated, we know they enjoy sweet treats so there are cakes in the office today. Don’t they brush up well too!!

The whole team enjoyed another two days together last week in the office. As promised we resumed our tradition of pancakes (albeit a little late) and in amongst the meetings and updates we welcomed James and celebrated with a brilliant meal at our local Thai restaurant.

It was good to get feedback from the team days last month at this morning’s Exec meeting. Everyone thought it was great to see their colleagues in person and some who were meeting for the first time due to WFH since the lockdowns. We’re all looking forward to doing it again next week.

Happy Pancake Day! Over the years it’s been the tradition to cook pancakes for the team on this day, but since lockdown the office environment has changed and the team are often spread out. Earlier this month, the whole team were back in the office for two days, it felt vibrant and the air was abuzz. It was such fun that next month we’re doing it again and perhaps we’ll have a belated pancake day to revive the Eljays tradition 🥞. On another note - what will you be giving up for lent?

Flashback to this day 4 months ago when Eljays44‘s FutureScape won Most Impressive Growth Trade Show at the Exhibition News Indy Awards 2022. The programme for 2023’s FutureScape is fully underway and promises to be an even bigger and better show for the whole of the landscape and garden design industry. Sharing our successes with the team makes all the hard work by everyone involved worth every minute.

Since lockdown, Jim and Lisa's dogs have been coming into the office more as they don't like to be left home alone for too long. The team are really great with them and they always get made a big fuss of.

What a great couple of days! With absolutely everyone back in the office for the first time since 2020 it certainly felt like the buzzing place it was pre pandemic. Some of the team were meeting in person for the first time which was brilliant and there have been meetings and catch ups galore! Cakes, quiz and a curry after work celebrated our 12th birthday and there are lots of plans for great things to come in 2023. Thanks to our dedicated team for all your efforts 👏 👏

Happy birthday to us! 12 years ago Eljays44 was registered as a new company with the aim of providing magazines and events for the UK landscaping sector.

We’ve been tireless in our aim to bring landscaping, garden design, grounds maintenance, landscape architecture and arb together as a community through our magazines Pro Landscaper
Pro Arb Magazine and the leading landscape event FutureScape.

We don’t take any of our success for granted and today we want to thank everyone for their support: our team (past and present) and suppliers - who have mostly been with us from the start, but also all of our advertisers/exhibitors, contributors and speakers, readers and visitors - many of whom are not just acquaintances or colleagues but are true friends that have wanted to see our brands succeed and grow, providing the landscaping industry with the most accurate, up to date and informative content whilst driving the industry forward as a professional and rewarding career path.

Thank you again to everyone who has been on this journey with us, we’re just as enthusiastic and determined today as we were back then and look forward to continuing to do our best to serve this amazing sector.

We will be celebrating with the team this week 🎉

We’re looking forward to having all the team in the office for a couple of days next week. Since the pandemic most of us have been working at home for at least part of the week, if not full time so it will be really good to have everyone together. We’ve spruced up the office and have been baking ready to welcome everyone back.

Happy New Year! It's been a while since we posted on our page; the team have now had a long festive break and are feeling refreshed and ready to step into 2023. Feet aren’t quite back on the ground this morning as we celebrated well into the night with our superb achievement at the EN Indy Awards 2022. We came away with the award for Most Impressive Growth and silver for Trade Show of the Year for our flagship event FutureScape. In just over three weeks we will be back at ExCeL London for our 11th show and we can’t wait to see the landscape industry come together for the most important trade show in the sector’s calendar. Big thanks go to our committed team and everyone who has contributed Over the years either by taking a stand or as speaker/guest panellist and supporting our aim to build the best community get together for the landscape industry. Bring on Futurescape 2022 - 15th-16th November - see you there!
