😍 We love stories of women pursuing their dreams, and this month's feature on New York-based designer Laura Gelfand of Le Lion is filled with inspiration. ✨ When she couldn't find what she wanted in the marketplace, she created it. And THAT is LUXY.

Her trajectory took her from a professional start at Ralph Lauren, to design school at Parsons School of Design, to Director of Wholesale at Figue, which all lead her to where she is now.

Today, she's focused on bringing quality and timelessness to her line of customizable heritage sweaters and more, with a design philosophy that is the opposite of fast fashion.

"The market has become so oversaturated with stuff," she said, "that I found it harder and harder to emotionally connect with product. Fashion is such an emotional thing - it is a form of self-expression and is so incredibly personal to many of us."
