Elder co-founded Outta Sight Records (Nashville) and The Dynamites in 2006, while around the same time Garn and Jeff Jackman co-founded Element Records (Atlanta). Having joined two already established soul labels into one, the Gemco Recording Group, based in Atlanta, GA, now sets out In the great tradition of southern soul labels Stax, TK, Minit, and Sansu Records, to be the one-stop soul/R&B label in the south.
