I was right. My little theory about the 10k years ago battle from BotW being pre-skyloft. I never got a chance to make anything of it, but yeah. Here in the opening of ToTK, we're getting references to the founding of Hyrule, which took place at the end of/ shortly after Skyward Sword.
The whole of the Zelda timeline is in the beginning millenia of the "ten thousand years agoooooooo", or even possibly in the middle, since the technology of the then was high enough for giant mech. AND it matches to the Twilight Palace and the Tower of the Gods.

Imprisoning War, is this indicating placement on the Downfall branch of the timeline?
