Hi, guys! So, I just published a new book, "Embers on a Dying Moon." It's the sequel to "Phase of a Broken Sky." Lo and behold, Amazon placed a 74% sale on the original book (I assume it's a series sale). I don't know how long it will last, but right now, it's only $3.89 on paperback in the US store!!! It doesn't look like it's reduced worldwide. If it is, I can't tell on my end.

"Embers on a Dying Moon" is currently listed for $15. On May 22, the list price will go up to $20. That current discount applies worldwide.

So, if you're interested in a werewolf young adult series, it's available for purchase right now and it's a really good deal.

So, the other day at Motor City Comic Con, a man walked by my booth, and the poster for "The Color of God's Eyes" caught his eye. I quickly described it as "X-Men meets the American Civil War." He picked up the book and his eyes brightened as he read the first paragraph. He said, "The Hunt for Red October was partly made into a movie because a screen writer was so captured by the first line. This is powerful!" He turned to his friend, "This is a story about a women discovering who she's meant to be." He immediately took out cash and paid for it, the sequel, and another book. I thanked him and was very flattered. But for the life of me, I couldn't remember the first line!

After he walked away, I turned to Tina and she laughingly asked, "What was the opening line?" Then, I picked up the book.

"Have you ever loved somebody so deeply, they became more than what your heart could take? They became perfectly synced with your life, so much that it felt like a cosmic event—where all the stars aligned together—when you were captured in their eyes? They were your breath? Your reason? Your greatest weakness?
