LÖK ZINE is an artistic collective that promotes young Italian and international authors through the magazine of the same name, based on the "OPEN CALL". The collective also arises as an independent label for the publication of draft monographs and anthologies always linked to the main fields of interest such as cartoon and illustration. Everything is promoted through collaborations with other pub

We’re really happy to announce this little new fanzine by the author the launchingwill be at the stand F13 in next Thursday the 29th! It’s an emotional ceramics manual that explores self-awareness and creative well-being through the metaphor and practice of shaping clay.
A comics story that delves into earth and fire to overcome the creative block every artist experiences at least once in their life. It’s a special project printed in Riso 4 colors by the amazing , the cover is 2 colors silkscreening printed by at !!!

We took advantage of this 17th issue of Lök Zine to play with the theme.
“Friday” may seem like a strange topic at first. However, in Italy (and historically in Greco-Latin countries), 17 was considered an unlucky number. In the Neapolitan Smorfia, for instance, 17 represents misfortune. When combined with Friday, it creates a day seen as ominous, much like Friday the 13th in the Anglo-Saxon world.
It seemed like a fitting idea to tie the issue number of our magazine to this theme. We invite you to present your stories not only about Friday the 17th but also on the broader concept of fate: luck, misfortune, risk, superstition, belief, karma, and chance; since we enjoy offering you different perspectives, think also about the last day of the week, the mythological Freia (Venus), or the planet.
Illuminate the uncontrollable, imagine or recount a story animated by the symbols of good or bad luck, built on randomness and chaos.
We can’t wait to see the best and worst you can conjure about the idea of fate. Happy Friday, and good luck!
