Hope everyone had a great time yesterday celebrating Halloween or whatever fall festivals you went to. This was at a trunk or treat. Last night we hosted a small get together before trick or treating around our neighborhood. It was good to see so many families and groups out and about. The whole sense of community thing.

Had a fun meal at Hard Rock in Pigeon Forge. I felt like I had to try the Messi burger because I’ve heard about it several times. It did not disappoint. ad Neither did the enormous brownie and ice cream dessert.

Gotta give a shout out to our server, Emma, who did a great job.

We lucked out weather wise for our first trip to 30A. This sunset was on our last night, so we had to take all the pictures.

I’ve heard about it several times, and have been to Destin on one side and Panama City on the other, but this was our first experience with this very unique beach destination.

We were staying in a beautiful condo right across from where we took this shot. There is a link in bio for the unit.

It’s always 5 o’clock on the Margaritaville at Sea ship.

We went on our first sailing with Margaritaville’s cruise line. 🚢

They had a lot of Jimmy Buffet decor and a neat wallpaper map in the rooms. Destination Bahamas and some downtime. is posting a longer Reel today from our sailing.

More New Orleans food! One of my favorite things about traveling is getting to have new meal options and New Orleans is known for good food. ad This was our second visit to Broussard’s down by the French Quarter. The service is on-point and the food was all delicious. I highly recommend ending the evening by ordering the table-side bananas foster.

As someone who has lived east of the Mississippi his entire life, I make it to Disney World in Florida a lot more often than Disneyland in California.

It’s so strange to see a place that feels familiar, but is different at the same time. Anyone else feel like that when the visit a Disney park other than the one they are used to?

Puppies… Puppies are one of the reasons I’ve been too busy to post very often recently. This puppy in particular - Luna joined our family about a week ago and is now a whole ten weeks old.

We loved exploring the beauty of the Appalachian Mountains in Erwin, Tennessee. Here are a few of our favorite things about our stay at USA Raft, right on the Nolichucky River. (Hope I spelled that right)  1. Picturesque Scenery: Erwin, Tennessee offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. 2. Varied Trails: There were several options of trails. 3. Pet friendly: Dolly got to join us on our stay and hike! 4. Historical Significance: The town of Erwin has a rich history dating back to the 1800s, and many of the hiking trails pass by historic landmarks and ruins. 5. Abundant Wildlife: The woods around here had a wide range of flora and fauna, including black bears, wild turkeys, and bobcats.

While we spent most of the trip in swim suites, we did occasionally clean up long enough to enjoy a dinner date or two.

When cursing: do you go to the nicer dinners or do the more casual options to get back to the party/beach chair?

Everyone seems to be having some sort of flower filled spring festival about this time of year. We got to go see Disney’s Flower and Garden Festival on the festival’s opening day this year (yeah, I’m just getting around to posting because life’s busy).

I talk about my experience so far with long haul COVID. I’m not a medical doctor, I’m just sharing how this has effected me and what my doctors have told me. Let me know if you’ve experienced any of the same things. My main symptoms are fatigue, brain fog, and a messed up nervous system that presents like anxiety attacks. It has greatly altered my fitness routine. I’m 39, was J&J vaccinated, didn’t have a horrible initial case, wasn’t hospitalized, 6’2, 225 lbs. My last workout pre-virus was 1/13/22 when I ran a 10:00 minute 1.5 mile then lifted weights. Two weeks ago I took my first walk and had to sit before the first mile. And yes, the video cut off early.
