This year for my birthday I wanted to be somewhere Iv never been before. Preferably somewhere out of the country lol. I wanted to go somewhere where I could relax, explore and reflect on my 20’s and be proud of what Iv accomplished in the last decade!

Allow me to take you along down memory lane.

At the age of 20 I was young and sad wondering why I couldn’t find love, wondering why I wasn’t where I wanted to be. I was wondering why I didn’t have a lot of stuff. But really what was the rush for? lol. At the age of 21 I met this guy name Wayne Matthews who motivated me and made me feel like I was the luckiest girl on the planet. We started dating! Still at 21 I bought my first car with no help from anyone. 23 I graduated and got my bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and landed my first real job with benefits! 24 I moved out of my parents house and got my own place. A couple of months after moving out I got engaged! 26 I got married and traveled the world 🌎. 27 I welcomed my first child Samir King Matthews. 28 I bought my first house and closed the deal on my birthday! Then I started my decorating business the next month. And now here I am 30, expecting my second child 🌈. I’m just simply content with everything and happy to be surrounded by people who love me and actually care! Thank you to everyone who was apart my smile today! Thank you for making me feel special on my special day! I don’t think you have any idea how happy I truly am for you to take time out of your day to acknowledge my being! Cheers to a new chapter! ❤️
