We have lift off!

Our relaunch meeting of the Weymouth Business Exchange took place this morning. Very successful, a great energy and enthusiasm in the room; referrals already being passed!

☕️ Blue Monday - 17th January 2022

Although not scientifically proven, tomorrow is classed as ‘Blue Monday’ as it is supposed to be the most depressing day of the year! The third Monday in January is known in this way, because it is known to cause a combination of post holiday blues caused by:-

😰 weather - long nights and short days.

😰 post Christmas debt.

😰 low motivational levels.

😰 guilt over abandoned New Year resolutions or plans that have not worked out.

So what can you do:-

😊 take some excercise - go for a walk.

😊 plan ahead - put some dates in your diary to give you things to look forward to.

😊 reach out, talk to each other, arrange to meet for a tea/coffee/pint.

😊 talk to friends and family about how you are feeling.

If you are still struggling - reach out - there are some fantastic agencies available to help and offer support:-

❤️The Samaritans - phone 116 120 - check out their ‘Brew Monday Campaign’.

❤️ CAP - need some debt advice, then please phone Christians Against Poverty on 0800 328 006.

❤️ The Sanctuary - phone 0300 003 7029 (24 Hours) for help with depression, anxiety/panic attacks or any sort of crisis.

My lovely daughter has decided she would like to grow her hair a little longer, then cut and donate it. She is raising money for The Little Princess Trust and has also decided to give half of the money she raises to her sister's Pre-school (Radipole pre-school) She would be very grateful for any donations to these two worthy organisations.

It will be cut on the 12th June.
