No Escape

So what happens when you leave Beany and James alone with a Microscope? Well, we end up making Experimental films, that's what. We scanned three phones, our fingers, my eyebrows and eyes, a coin, bank cards, a reciept, fiberglass, flowers, and plants to create this experimental short. I personally see it as a collection of things which enable and trap us. Biology, Technology, and Economy, all keep us metaphorically imprisoned and bound to this earth, and that the only way we can escape is into our fantasies. Whether these escapes are internalised or externalised, both in the real world or in the world of the Hyper-real, we all want to break free from the chains which hold us down. The world tells you there is no escaping reality, but you can all escape into fantasy once in a while. Cherish those moments.
