Largest Kaikottikali dance - Guinness World Records We all know malayalis are good at breaking records. They have created another history by doing a record dance. Kerala women gathered in huge number for the onam and broke the record by performing Kaikottukali. Don’t you want to know the number of women gathered at the ground for the record. It is 5211 women who gathered at the ground to break the world record. they have performed very well and created a mass dance in the middle of the ground. The record was achieved for the largest kaikottikali. We all know that it is dance form especially performed by south Indian women. Kaikottukali is mainly performed on the event of onam. Onam is a popular festival in kerala. Many preparations are needed for a good version of kaikotukali. women have to practise the dance for some days to make the sink correct. Also special kind of dress is required to perform this dance form. The dance event was led by choreographer Jitha Binoy. It was created as a part of Thanima Festival. The dance also had a big audience support of 50000 people. The planning of the dance nearly took 10 months.
