Founded in January of 2012, The Diaspora Network (‘TDN’) is a conception of international media personalities from the Caribbean looking to give a voice to their community. The Diaspora Network was created to give a platform to the Caribbean Diaspora to tell its stories to the world and show a side of the islands that has never been seen before. With a primary focus on the Haitian community, TDN w
ill have daily coverage of the Haitian Diaspora to showcase who they are, what they do, where they live and their personal experiences while living outside of Haiti. Through fair, reliable and balanced daily news coverage of the community, TDN aims to create a connection between Haitians living abroad and Haitians living at home by exposing the reality of these two different worlds. Our stories are built around the emergence of the two cultures and how one influences the other. The Internet is used as our main platform with some of our specials broadcasted over the radio and on television through our media partners. The site will officially launch on January 1st, 2013 where our audience will be able to view our news packages. What makes The Diaspora Network unique from other news sources is the focus on showing the human side to every story that we cover. Follow us on twitter
