A windy day today in Hobart, which added additional drama to see GASP a dynamic, inspirational open space situated on the Derwent estuary system, at Elwick Bay, GASP responds to the lapping tides. The tidal waters produce an ever changing environment of mud flats and inundations. Bird and marine life come and go approximately 3km from Montrose Bay to Wilkinson’s Point, a linear 9 hectare public space with landscape features including open parkland, wetlands and bird habitat.

Watching this scene while standing on the Irrawaddy bridge in Myanmar, I wondered how many bicycles there might be in the world. After some research and reading up it seems to be roughly a billion.
For the welcome lunch at our @especiallypuglia farm stay, Michele's mother whipped up a fresh pasta dish with such ease. We really enjoyed experiencing first hand what amazing skills in making one's own food every day pretty much from scratch are still a big part of daily life here in Puglia. When we told her how impressed we were, She shrugged and said its nothing, it only takes me twenty minutes. Well, it only took us five minutes to empty our plates 😂.
